Humble Sea ‘This Is Foggin Unreal’ DDH IPA

Rating:

“DDH Foggy IPA with simcoe, galaxy, and el dorado.”

Glassware: IPA.

Appearance: Hazy, light sandy yellow kind of affair with a fluffy two finger head. It slowly breaks up and leaves a wavy lace down the glass.

Aroma: Lots of stone fruit and fleshy tropical fruits hitting the olfactory’s first. Passion fruit, pear, orange citrus and pine offering good support. Just a subtle hint of concentrated juice but it has that touch of pepper to it which we love. This beautiful nectar-like scent opens up as it settles too. Nice and dry doughy malt structure to boot. Diggin it!

Flavour: Smooth as silk. Follows on from the nose with the lifted stone fruit and tropicals then a delicious nectar-filled hit of passion fruit comes through. Hints of pear, grapefruit and pine then lead to a rather pithy finish with soft earthy and herbal notes on the back end.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, creamy, well rounded. Finely carbonated. Medium body. 6.8% ABV is spot on.

Overall: This really is foggin unreal. Super smooth, sessional, perfectly balanced. A pleasure to drink really. Impressive.
