Prepare your faces for a 6.7% hazy IPA packed to the brim with mountains of Nelson, Motueka, and Simcoe hops, yielding a gloriously juicy profile replete with mango, nectarine, and lime-zest character. We think you’re really going to dig it.”

Glassware: IPA glass.

Appearance: Turbid breakfast juice with a finger of white head sitting atop. It holds together quite well and sheds an excellent lace as it ebbs.

Aroma: There’s definitely some fruit juice character but there’s a zesty line of citrus which cuts right down the middle. Impressions of unripened pineapple, passion fruit, nectarine, mango and peach also getting amongst it. Loving the addition of Nelson Sauvin hops they play a big role in providing that almost acetic white wine-like note along with a kind of dank and weedy herbaceous accent. Really enjoying this Kiwi spin on it.

Flavour: Follows on from the nose. A wave of tropical and stone fruits with the zesty and slightly acetic edge from the NS hops cutting right through. Hinting at candied green fruits and gooseberry midway as it leads in to a rather dry and citric bitter finish which displays pithy grapefruit and citrus peel on the back end.

Mouthfeel: Smooth and almost aerated texture. Medium body and co2. 6.7% AbV and 40 IBU…both very well behaved. Extremely approachable.

Overall: It’s almost criminal how sessional this is…we’d have no issues ploughing through a 4 pack…and then waiting for the booze to kick in! We’re digging it indeed!
