“An unconventional IPA with low bitterness and a rich mouthfeel combining protein rich grains, fruity yeast, new world hops (hule melon, mosaic and cashmere), strawberry, vanilla and milk sugar for added creaminess and sweet finish.”

Glassware: IPA glass.

Appearance: Slightly hazy amber with a thumb of loosely held foam on top. Tonnes of floaties so watch your pour! Reasonable head retention and lacing as it subsides.

Aroma: Super sweet, artificial, candy-esque strawberry syrup with a good dose of creamy lactose, vanilla and medicinal notes. Smells a bit like opening up a bag of Allen’s strawberries and cream. Subtle hints of tropical fruits i.e pineapple, mango, pine and melon. We’ll have to hand it to them they’ve managed to keep it well enough balanced.

Flavour: What we really like is that they haven’t gone overboard with the sweetness. The artificial strawberry, vanilla and lactose sidle up nicely to the subtle piney and fruity hop tones. Not a great deal of variation as it rolls on to a smooth, sweet and mildly dry finish.

Mouthfeel: Silky, gelatinous texture with ultra low bitterness. It holds a medium body and the 6% ABV is well disguised.

Overall: Once again we’re won over by the novelty but we’re yet to see any release top the coffee and blueberry. Loving the creativity though…keep em comin!
