Made with Australian and American hops, this tropical heavy IPA opens up in the glass with notes of hugely flavorful notes of lemon-lime, pineapple, orange sorbet, and tangerine. It has a soft but pointed bitterness and a rich, velvety mouth feel. One of of our personal favorites here at Tree House!”

Glassware: IPA glass.

Appearance: The usual turbid orange with deep honey highlights. It builds a two finger head which persists and weaves a healthy lace as it ebbs.

Aroma: Matches the name of the beer perfectly. We get lush evergreen, pine forest, citrus, pineapple, mango, subtle orange and ruby grapefruit along with a hint of Frosty Fruits. Detecting stronger scents of rockmelon, orange cream, dank-ish hops and aniseed as it warms. Such a well rounded nose. So Treehouse!

Flavour: Bucket loads of juicy citrus, stonefruit, orange rind and sweet pineapple on entry. Pine, herbal hop and a somewhat earthy spice also getting amongst it. The middle shows a bit of grapefruit acidity that carries in to the dry, slightly warming and bitter finish with that pinch of Frosty Fruit sweetness in the tail.

Mouthfeel: Creamy and inoffensive. A flutter of warmth from the 7.5% AbV and some bitterness (90 IBU) developing in the swallow. Medium body and co2.

Overall: These guys really have the NEIPA style dialled in. We’re now pretty much through their whole range of IPA’s and we must say the consistency and quality is unrivalled. Kudos Treehouse!
