Evil twin brewing ‘falco’ IPA

Show courage and endurance – you will lead the way and set standards. Very important; be appealing and refreshing to the people. This stereotypical portrait applies whether referring to politics, religion or maybe even this outstanding IPA.”

We’re absolutely loving this gypsy brewery at the moment! Always brewing on the edge. Served in an IPA glass the slightly hazy straw-gold pour constructs a light one and a half finger head that retains well, leaving plenty of lace trails down the glass. Off the nose we picked up plenty of tropical fruits. Lychee stands out the most, with hints of lemon, grapefruit, pine resins and passion fruit. A chewy character gives off subtle doughy wafts of white bread, offering a nice balance. Medium-high bitterness is mainly due to the generous late hopping. Mouth feel is actually quite smooth with decent body. A lovely smattering of pine, citrus and grapefruit work tirelessly to mute the subtle sweet malt base. Crisp, dry finish with really well endured bitterness on the tongue. The ABV sits at 7% ABV which is bang on for this beer. Really tasty IPA, could definitely go back for a 2nd.
