“This fruit-forward single IPA features deep flavors of citrus from the hops yet is easy drinking. Don’t wait until later, enjoy right meow!”
Glassware: IPA glass.
Appearance: Straw yellow with a touch of orange. Hazy AF! It’s topped by a thumb of creamy white head which is retained really well. An intricate lace pattern sticks to the glass as it ebbs.
Aroma: Absolutely spot on! Very similar to the likes of Alchemist, Treehouse etc with its big tinned pineapple and breakfast juice characters. Dried apricot, candied lemon, earthy spice and pine with fleeting wafts of ripe paw paw and rockmelon. Just a whisper of fennel in here too. Brilliant!
Flavour: Mostly dried apricots, rockmelon and grapefruit on the front end. Gentle nudges of earthy spice and pine as it rolls through the pithy mid palate. Grapefruit and orange peel ensue with some leafy/ piney botanicals in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Has that hallmark creamy texture with restrained bitterness and mild-medium co2. Medium body.
Overall: A damn fine NEIPA. Our first crack at this Nevada brewery and it has more than impressed us. Probably the best NEIPA we’ve had from a west coast brewery.
