Appearance: Super hazy pastel orange with a billowing three finger head which is hardly going anywhere! Once it does it makes a beautiful lacey mess on the glass.
Aroma: The can says dry hopped with Galaxy and Citra but there are scents here that we’ve never got from either of those hops before…namely this slightly tart and funky red currant and or pomegranate-like character. We’re actually really digging it though. Other more classic notes of zesty orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, peach, nectarine and rock melon are all here in spades. Loving this!
Flavour: Definitely loses that tart and funky red currant character and dials in on the hazy – stone fruit and tropical fruit galore! Rockmelon, papaya, guava, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, orange, peach and grapefruit. Literally a fruit salad. Gorgeous fruit smoothie-esque finish… creamy, juicy fruits with no bitterness. Superb.
Mouthfeel: Incredibly smooth, creamy and juicy. Ultra low bitterness, well concealed ABV (7.5%). Finely carbonated. Medium-full body. Practically faultless.
Overall: Jeez what a find these guys were! Stumbled in to Page Bottler not knowing and left with a few. Gonna have to find more now this is an absolute cracker!
